When Beau first found himself in a shelter, he had no idea what the future held.

And his family fell harder for him with every passing day.
Eventually, the temporary arrangement became impossible to imagine ending.
They had planned to foster Beau.
Instead, they decided to adopt him.
Beau had officially gone from foster dog to forever family member.
The transformation is beautifully simple.
One day, he was a shelter dog waiting for someone to give him a chance.
Then someone opened their home.
They gave him a comfortable place to sleep, affection, adventures and the freedom to simply be himself.
And somewhere along the way, everyone realized that Beau was already home.
A recent glimpse of Beau shows him comfortably sitting outside his new home at night, enjoying the peaceful life he now gets to call his own.
It’s a far cry from the uncertainty of shelter life.
There are no kennel walls surrounding him.
No wondering when someone might come along.
No waiting for his turn.
He has people who love him, a home of his own and an entire future ahead of him.
Beau’s story also highlights something special about fostering.
Sometimes, foster families help dogs move toward their forever homes.
