Most people consider themselves lucky if they can get one dog to cooperate for a Halloween photo. Grace Park decided to take on ten.
Over the years, adoptions and foster fails turned Park into the proud mom of 10 dogs, most of them dachshunds.
With such a big pack, keeping everyone entertained takes creativity. So this Halloween, she planned several group costumes — and the results were unforgettable.
Ten Dogs, One Creative Mom
Park never intended to have ten dogs. But as she welcomed adopted pups and foster dogs who became permanent family members, her household kept growing.
She makes enrichment part of their daily lives, planning activities to keep the dogs happy.
The pack enjoys camping trips, beach visits, and even spa days.
As Park explained in a YouTube video, keeping them entertained is important.
Otherwise, they’ll find their own ways to have fun — and those activities can involve destroying things around the house.
For Halloween, she wanted the whole pack involved.
From Lobsters to Teletubbies
The costume fun started with individual outfits. One dog became a lobster, while another dressed as Sister Encarnación from the comedy film “Nacho Libre.”
But Park had a bigger idea.
She transformed all ten dogs into the colorful characters from “Teletubbies.” The original show had only four, but Park had enough pups to create an expanded cast.
Naturally, she joined the fun, dressing as the show’s iconic smiling sun.
Then the group headed into a field for their big moment. Getting ten excited dogs to cooperate was already a challenge. Doing it in a costume made things even more complicated.
Park tripped over one of the pups and fell. Her dogs immediately surrounded her — and started nibbling at her sun costume.
It wasn’t quite the picture-perfect scene she may have imagined, but the dogs clearly enjoyed themselves.
“At least the [Teletubbies] had fun,” Park joked in her Instagram caption.
A Pack of Sandworms
One group costume wasn’t enough. Park also dressed all ten dogs as sandworms from “Dune.”
To complete the theme, she wore an outfit inspired by one of the movie’s main characters and brought the pack to a sandy location that looked like the film’s desert setting.
The dogs weren’t simply posing for pictures. They got to explore the sand, and Park said they were comfortable and having a great time.
After all the excitement, the pups were likely ready for a well-earned rest. Park joked that another spa day would help them decompress once Halloween was over.
Halloween Is Better Together
The costumes are hilarious, but the story also shows how much thought Park puts into her dogs’ happiness.
With ten pups, keeping everyone engaged takes patience, planning, and imagination.
Camping, beach outings, spa days, and themed adventures give them new experiences to enjoy.
Sometimes a dog gets underfoot, a costume gets chewed, and the perfect photo turns into chaos.
But those imperfect moments are often the ones worth remembering.
For Park and her ten dogs, Halloween is more than a chance to dress up. It’s another opportunity to share an adventure.
And judging by these costumes, this creative crew has already made next year’s celebration harder to top.
