Ever wondered what your dog really dreams about?

For Max, a four-year-old Great Pyrenees from Langford, South Dakota, it seems his dreams are filled with delicious breakfast burritos! And he’s not just dreaming—he’s willing to walk for them.

Meet Max, the canine legend who recently embarked on an epic, solo overnight journey for his favorite treat.

It all started when he’d been given a free breakfast burrito by the friendly staff at a local C-store. Clearly, that taste left a lasting impression!

One fateful night, around 11:39 PM, while his owners Sara and Nathan Olson were sound asleep, Max quietly slipped out of the house.

Guided by his nose and perhaps the memory of that glorious tortilla-wrapped goodness, he set off on a two-hour, five-mile trek straight across the fields towards town.

Imagine the Olsons’ surprise when Sara woke up to a flurry of alerts from Max’s GPS trackers!

They soon discovered their determined dog had arrived at the C-store hours before opening and patiently waited there for five hours. Talk about commitment!

Unfortunately for Max, he didn’t get his burrito fix that morning because the store was closed.

But his adventure didn’t end there!

After his long wait, he decided to take another detour, sniffing out his owner’s daughter’s boyfriend’s house—a place he’d never been before.

Great Pyrenees noses, folks, are truly incredible!

Now, to prevent future overnight escapades, Max is living the dream: his owners are making him his very own homemade breakfast burritos every single day.

Rescued two years ago, Max is described by Sara as “just the greatest dog” and “truly grateful” to live with them.

And honestly, who wouldn’t be grateful for a steady supply of burritos?
