Hey, animal lovers! Are you tired of the same old routine? Do you dream of hitting the trails, exploring new places, and maybe even finding a furry partner in crime for all your outdoor escapades?
Well, grab a cup of coffee and sit tight, because we’re about to introduce you to Manny, and he might just be exactly what you’re looking for!
Manny is a handsome, 3-year-old Siberian Husky, weighing in at a healthy 56 pounds. But don’t let his striking looks fool you – this guy is more than just a pretty face.
He’s currently waiting for his forever home at the Lompoc Animal Center, and let me tell you, the staff there can’t stop raving about him.
What makes Manny so special? According to the folks who know him best, he’s the perfect hiking companion or running partner. Imagine this: you’re out on a scenic trail, enjoying the fresh air, and right by your side is Manny, walking beautifully on his leash, nose to the ground, absolutely thrilled to be exploring the world with you.
He loves being “out and about,” taking in all the sights and smells the great outdoors has to offer. If you’ve got an active lifestyle, Manny is ready to join in on all the fun.
Now, Manny enjoys the company of some dogs, but he’s not necessarily looking to be part of a massive canine crowd. He’s got his own vibe, and he’s just waiting for the right human (or humans!) to share it with.

When you adopt Manny, you’re not just getting a fantastic dog; you’re getting a whole package deal. His adoption fees cover everything essential: he’ll be neutered, microchipped (so he can always find his way back to you!), up-to-date on his vaccinations, treated for fleas, and will have had a comprehensive health and wellness exam. That’s peace of mind right there.
So, if you’re in the market for a loyal, active, and endlessly curious companion, Manny is ready to meet you. The Lompoc division of Santa Barbara County Animal Services is located at 1501 West Central in Lompoc.
You can stop by between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday, or simply give them a call at (833) 422-8413 for more information. The friendly staff are eager to help you find your new best friend.
Maybe a full-time adoption isn’t in the cards for you right now, but you still want to make a difference. No problem! The Lompoc Animal Center also offers fostering opportunities for animals, even those too young to be adopted yet.
It’s a fantastic way to give an animal a temporary home and help them prepare for their forever family. You can learn more and apply to foster by visiting their website.

Manny is waiting. Could you be his next great adventure?
