Without a moment’s hesitation, Sasha drove four hours to meet her halfway.
Along the way to the veterinary hospital, Sasha stroked the terrified puppy, fearing she wouldn’t make it.
But even in excruciating pain, the little dog didn’t growl or show her teeth. All she did was whimper and look at Sasha with trusting eyes.
At Mercy Veterinary Hospital, the puppy was given a blood transfusion and antibiotics.
Sasha watched nervously, but then she saw it—a tiny, hopeful tail wag. A flicker of life and a sign of the fighting spirit within.
The vet team did everything they could, but the damage to her leg was so severe that amputation was the only option. Less than 24 hours after being found, the brave little pup went into surgery.

It wasn’t long before one of the nurses at the hospital fell in love and decided to adopt her. Miracle’s foster home became her forever home.
Today, Miracle is living up to her name every single day.
