Hearts everywhere are melting over Sully, a black Labrador from Idaho whose boundless joy has turned him into an internet sensation.

His happiness isn’t just about toys, treats, or walks—it’s about one very special place: Grandma and Grandpa’s house.

Sully lives with his owner, Tori T, who often shares his adventures on TikTok under the handle @sullytheblacklab.

Known for his goofy energy and love of life, Sully’s excitement reaches a whole new level the moment he hears the words “Grandma and Grandpa.”

“Sully has always been this excited about life,” Tori told Newsweek. “Especially when it comes to Grandma and Grandpa’s house.”

Since Tori works from home, most days it’s just the two of them. That makes every trip to her parents’ home an event worth wagging about.

“Any time there’s an opportunity to break up the routine, he’s in!” Tori laughed. And who can blame him? The grandparents’ house is basically dog heaven.

Their yard, “like his own personal park,” is sprawling and full of fascinating smells.

Grandpa takes him on long walks, Grandma doles out endless cuddles, and both spoil him with playtime and attention.

On October 17, Tori shared a TikTok that captured this joy perfectly—and the internet couldn’t look away.

In the viral clip, Tori sits Sully down for what seems like a serious talk. “I need to tell you something,” she begins, trying to keep her tone calm.

“But I need you to act a little less excited this time, OK?”

Before she can even finish, Sully’s tail starts wagging like a metronome gone wild.

Within seconds, he’s in full zoomie mode—spinning, hopping, and leaping around the room with contagious happiness. “I haven’t even told you yet!”

Tori laughs behind the camera. Finally, she gets the words out: “You’re going to Grandma and Grandpa’s while I’m away for work!”

That’s all Sully needs to hear. He bolts straight for the door, tail wagging so hard it could power a fan, and jumps into the car as if afraid she might change her mind.

The video exploded online—garnering over 54,000 likes and thousands of comments from people who couldn’t get enough of Sully’s enthusiasm.

“Sully could at least pretend to like you!” one person joked. Another wrote, “He said spit it out already!” while someone else added, “Sully had to get out the preemptive zoomies.”

Tori admitted she never expected such a response. “I started his account just for fun, so I wouldn’t spam my friends and family,” she said.

“I never would have guessed he’d amass the following he has today. It’s been so special reading all the love that pours in.”

And yes, Sully’s grandparents are as smitten with him as everyone online. “They break a lot of their own rules for him,” Tori admitted.

“When they raised me, we were never allowed to feed the dogs human food. But Grandpa’s a lot more generous at the cutting board than I am!”

Experts say there’s real benefit behind all that joy.

According to the American Kennel Club, socialization and exposure to different environments are key to raising confident, well-adjusted dogs.

For Sully, visits to Grandma and Grandpa’s aren’t just fun—they’re helping him thrive.

For Tori, though, the biggest reward is something simpler. “I adore Sully,” she said.

“And the fact that people across the globe love him too genuinely makes me tear up sometimes.”

Because in the end, Sully’s story isn’t just about a dog who loves his grandparents—it’s about pure, uncomplicated happiness.

The kind that reminds us all what it means to be loved, spoiled, and completely at home.
