From a distance, it barely looked like an animal.
Curled beneath a parked car, hidden from the blazing heat, was what appeared to be nothing more than a tangled mass of dirty fur. It wasn’t until two compassionate strangers got closer that they realized the heartbreaking truth.
A tiny Shih Tzu had been lying there all alone.
The little dog was so severely matted that it was almost impossible to tell what he looked like underneath the thick layers of tangled hair. His fur had become a heavy shell wrapped around his body, making every movement difficult and undoubtedly painful.
