When Haze arrived at the San Diego Humane Society, she had no idea why her life had suddenly changed.
Her mom, Ana, had been involved in a car accident and fallen into a coma. With no one able to properly care for Haze, a family member brought the dog to the shelter.
It was supposed to be temporary.
