Most dogs hear the words “bath time” and immediately start looking for somewhere to hide.

But Autumn and Ohana are clearly different.

These two service dogs have discovered something they enjoy just as much as a relaxing afternoon with their favorite humans: a warm shower.

In an adorable video shared by their owner, the dogs sit calmly in the bathtub, happily letting warm water run over their heads.

And judging by their expressions, neither one is particularly interested in ending the experience.

A Shower Worth Waiting For

The video, shared by the Instagram account @autumnmango_ohanabanana, begins with Autumn enjoying her turn under the shower.

As warm water flows over her head, she closes her eyes and looks completely relaxed. She even raises her face toward the spray, seemingly trying to get the water exactly where she wants it.

Her expression says everything. This isn’t a dog simply tolerating a bath. Autumn appears to be enjoying every second.

Then it’s Ohana’s turn.

Her owner gently directs the shower toward the Golden Retriever and asks whether the water feels good.

But Autumn isn’t quite ready to share.

As Ohana enjoys her moment, Autumn nudges her face back between her sister and the shower stream, clearly hoping to reclaim her favorite spot.

Apparently, one shower head isn’t enough for two dogs who love warm water.

Eventually, their owner brings out a spray bottle to apply shampoo, turning their relaxing shower into an actual bath.

Still, the water seems to be everyone’s favorite part.

Not Every Dog Feels This Way About Baths

Anyone who has ever tried bathing a reluctant dog knows how challenging the experience can be.

Some dogs become nervous around running water. Others dislike the feeling of getting wet or simply don’t enjoy being handled during bath time.

Autumn and Ohana, however, seem to have developed a completely different attitude.

Their owner joked in the caption that the dogs love hot showers just like her.

And viewers couldn’t help noticing how comfortable the pair looked.

One commenter mentioned that their own dog absolutely hated baths, making the two service dogs’ enthusiasm even more amusing.

It’s a reminder that dogs have their own personalities, preferences, and little routines that make them unique.

Even Working Dogs Deserve Relaxing Moments

Autumn and Ohana are service dogs, but this video offers a glimpse of their lives outside their important responsibilities.

Service dogs provide trained assistance to people with disabilities, helping with specific tasks that support their handlers’ independence and daily routines.

Their work requires training, focus, and consistency.

But just like any other dog, they also need time to relax, play, receive affection, and enjoy ordinary moments at home.

For Autumn and Ohana, apparently, that includes taking turns under a warm shower.

A Little Happiness in an Ordinary Moment

There’s something wonderfully simple about watching two dogs enjoy something as ordinary as bath time.

No elaborate tricks. No complicated games. Just two happy pups competing for the best spot under the water.

And while their owner may have planned a regular bath, Autumn and Ohana clearly had something much more relaxing in mind.

Their video is a sweet reminder that happiness often comes from the smallest things.

For some dogs, it’s a favorite toy. For others, it’s a long walk or a cozy nap beside their human.

For these two service dogs, it’s a warm shower—and preferably one they don’t have to share.
